Egyptian Archaeologists Uncover Sphinx Enclosure Wall at Giza
The 3,400-year-old wall on the Giza plateau part that was covered was finally uncovered by a group of archaeologists. The wall was built by Thutmose IV under the pretext of "Sphinx appeared to him in a dream complaining that it was being choked by sand."A third, older section of wall that is believed to be part of a settlement for priests and officials was also uncovered. The government is also going to build another wall for protection to the things they uncovered.
